Quality on wheels - Isatir expands its fleet with 20 Kögel Cargo with FlexiUse superstructure

Transportes Isatir from Agoncillo, La Rioja, has purchased 20 Kögel Cargo with FlexiUse bodies. This is the first time that the company has purchased vehicles from Kögel. Around a fifth of Isatir's fleet consists of trailers from Burtenbach, Germany. For Isatir's management, the quality of the vehicles is the decisive factor in the purchase.

Customer satisfaction is Isatir's top priority. "Our customers come from a wide variety of industries. In order to meet their requirements, we need trailers that are versatile. The Kögel Cargo with FlexiUse body meets these requirements perfectly," explained the managers at Isatir. Javier Del Mazo, General Manager for Spain and Portugal at Kögel, adds: "The Isatir team attaches great importance to quality, professionalism and good cooperation with all partners. Our cooperation is characterized by a family atmosphere. With the Kögel Cargo vehicles, we are supporting Isatir in its expansion plans".

A standard is essential

Isatir attaches particular importance to meeting the EN12642XL standard, but without the need for additional aluminum slats - a must for the transport company. "Kögel is the only supplier in Spain that meets this requirement and also offers the certificate without the slats," says Isatir. The standard stipulates that the boundaries of the loading space, which also include the outer walls, must be so stable that they can withstand the compressive forces of the load, especially in extreme situations. In most cases, horizontal slats are inserted into the side walls for this purpose. However, this is not necessary with Kögel Cargo vehicles.

Unlimited stability

The Kögel Cargo with FlexiUse body is a stable and durable vehicle that is available in a variety of industry-specific configurations. In the case of Isatir, it scores points with reinforced side sliding tarpaulins made of stiff, tightly woven material, reinforced sliding tarpaulins and, above all, the fact that no additional slats are required for the corresponding load. The body can also be raised by 200 mm. The customer has the option of combining the vehicle with tractors of different heights, as the body can be adjusted to the overall height at any time. This gives the customer a wide range of possible combinations and does not restrict the choice of tractor unit.
