Winner of the year: the KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL sets new standards and receives the International Trailer Award 2025

Kögel Trailer GmbH is delighted to accept the outstanding award of the International Trailer Award 2025 for the KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL! In the "Concept" category, our latest, weight-optimized refrigerated vehicle was awarded first place by the international jury of 14 experts. This prestigious award recognizes the best innovations in the trailer industry, and we are proud to be at the top!

The KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL was presented for the first time at the IAA Transportation 2024 and impresses with an impressive weight advantage of 700 kilograms compared to the conventional Kögel refrigerated vehicle. Thanks to a globally unique production process and the use of new, lightweight and stable panels that do not require a steel ceiling, we are setting new standards in the industry. The floor panels are also weight-optimized, as the usual wooden cross members have been replaced by GRP cross members. This not only leads to a reduction in weight, but also to better insulation.

The advantages of the KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL are manifold: a low unladen weight enables a high payload, noticeable fuel savings and a significant reduction in CO₂-emissions. In addition, the high impact resistance of the panels ensures that the vehicle is less susceptible to repairs, which increases uptime and availability on the road.
